Parishes
The initial stages of the New Diocesan Pastoral Plan inaugurated in 1999 involved the division of the Diocese into three Territorial Vicariates, North, South and Central and the sub-division of these into Pastoral Areas. These Pastoral Areas, or clusters of parishes, replace the former deanery structure and are organised in such a way that collaborative ministry between parishes, between priests and people, and between people of neighbouring parishes can be enabled and encouraged.
